Definition of the week… ‘Pastiche’

This week’s definition is taken from The Visual Dictionary of Typography by Gavin Ambrose and Paul Harris.

PASTICHE: A design that openly imitates the work of other designers, sometimes with satirical intent. this design by Andy Vella features type set within a crudely drawn body shape, creating a pastiche of a well-known Saul Bass poster.
